Hello, I'm
In aerospace, a thousandth of an inch is big enough to park a truck in.
About Me
I'm a CNC Machinist with over a decade of experience in the aerospace industry, where tolerances are measured in ten-thousandths and there's no room for error. From programming complex multi-axis operations to dialing in first-article runs, precision isn't just part of the job — it's a way of thinking.
I'm Lean Six Sigma trained, always looking for ways to eliminate waste, improve processes, and deliver parts that meet the highest standards. Outside of the shop, I channel that same attention to detail into 3D modeling, 3D printing, cooking, and a few other creative pursuits that keep my hands busy and my mind sharp.
What I Work With
Multi-axis CNC mill and lathe programming. G-code, CAM software, and complex toolpath strategies for tight-tolerance aerospace parts.
A decade of producing flight-critical components to AS9100 standards. Exotic alloys, complex geometries, and zero-defect expectations.
Process optimization, waste reduction, and data-driven decision making. Continuous improvement isn't a buzzword — it's a discipline.
CAD design and 3D modeling for both professional machining applications and personal creative projects. Turning ideas into geometry.
FDM and resin printing for prototypes, fixtures, and personal projects. From slicer settings to post-processing, bridging digital to physical.
CMM inspection, GD&T interpretation, and first-article documentation. Ensuring every part meets blueprint specifications.
After Hours
The same spatial thinking that goes into programming a 5-axis operation translates perfectly to designing parts on screen and printing them at home. From functional brackets to detailed models, it's machining without the chips.
Cooking is just another form of craftsmanship — measuring, timing, technique, and attention to detail. Whether it's smoking a brisket low and slow or tackling a new recipe, the kitchen is another workshop.
Not everyone's cup of tea — and that's exactly the point. Pickling pigs feet is a time-honored tradition that takes patience, the right brine, and a respect for old-school food preservation. A craft in its own right.
